The catalogue, which accompanies a travelling exhibition, includes works from the Museum Würth in Künzelsau, Germany, which has one of the most comprehensive collections of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's work in the world. The book explores five decades of work by the incomparable artistic team.

The exhibition opens at the National Academy of Design, New York on 8 October, 2004. It then travels to at least six more venues including Bass Museum, Miami Beach, Portland Museum of Art, Austin Museum of Art and Fresno Mentropolitan Museum. It is supported by the Trust for Museum Exhibitions.

About the Author

Prof. Dr Dieter Ronte is the Director of the Kunstmuseum, Bonn, Germany; which is devoted to celebrating German art after 1945. He has written previously on Christo and Jeanne-Claude for Würth Collection: Insight - Outlook - Overview, and his essay was reprinted separately to celebrate the opening of the Kunsthalle Würth.
